Fantastic, tasteful and well presented food and drinks in a cosy atmosphere directly accessible from the lime line ferry boat (terminal station) - BUT a well meant ask to the management: Please do not force your guests to use a QR code to access you beautiful menu - hand them the printed one. You products deserve it 😇
EXOTIC Cafe & Restaurant Nestled along the banks of the Chaophraya River and overlooking the Saphan Krungthrp Bridge, is an oasis which perfectly merges multiple cuisines with an atmosphere and environment that rivals an upcountry resort. It is the perfect place for family outings, dinner meetings, romantic escapades or even solo sorties! The recently opened venue opens from 09:00 to 21:00 and it caters to your entire day’s food & beverages from a delicious assortment of cakes and aromatic coffee to savory oriental and some western dishes. The Thai cuisine stands out both in taste and presentation. The ambience, air flow and furnishings are well balanced within the compound which was built over a century ago and renovated to a modern and oriental theme. The service is good and there’s ample parking space. Even restrooms are very clean and designed with an antique feel. A few antique cars parked around the compound adds an exotic charm to this unique place, which is a hidden, undiscovered gem to many. A reservation is strongly recommended and it is my conviction that once you’ve visited this enchanting place, you’ll depart not only with a full tummy, but with a heart full of happiness! ✍️ Episode 2 - January 3rd, 2026 Brought guests from Germany to brunch here, and while food and ambience was good, service was not acceptable because the staff insisted us to use QR code to order and refused to give the menu till we got up to leave. Then they brought the menu. Same happened to an adjacent table with elderly people and I had to persuade the staff to get the proper menu. My note to the owner - senior generation and aging people are not apt at using technology nor can they read without reading glasses. Offer physical menu and QR is the best option I’d say. Don’t plan to go back anytime soon or recommend my people till this MENU issue gets sorted out.
Historic old house converted to charming restaurant. The food is fantastic. The house is dedicated to preserving the history of the house and family. There's a large parking lot, but the restrooms are located outside the restaurant by the parking lot. Overall the experience was nice but it's really hot inside because the house is completely open.
Went here for lunch and had Crab Curry which was very delicious but also extremely spicy even for me who love Thai Spicy foods. My Thai friend tried it too and said way too spicy even for most Thais. Anyway, tasty and I did finish it. Situated in 150 year old house and has a nice atmosphere and friendly staff. I deducted one star for food so to being overly spicy
Very nice restaurant by the river. Old Siamese villa that at first was a bit hard to spot. We came here for lunch but it also makes a good dinner spot. They also have breakfast, cakes and coffee. But it feels more like a restaurant. They focus on Southern dishes and the quality and taste were very good and authentic. Very spicy. Lot‘s of Thai customers. Good vibe.
