When you’re in Central Embassy Department Store, head up to Level 6 for a peaceful getaway from the hustle and bustle of Bangkok! Here, there is Open House, where you can chill in a massive bookstore with comfy seats. And, if you get a bit hungry or thirsty, there are many eateries to choose from.
It’s a peaceful haven tucked away in the busy Siam district. If you’re looking to catch up with friends, this is a lovely place to do so. Surrounded by shelves of books and cozy sofas, you can sit back and enjoy a long, intimate chat in comfort (and free). Of course, there’s also a selection of food and drinks to complement your time there.
Very interesting place to visit. Books, restaurants, art stuff and plenty of cosy areas to chill out all in one place. For vegans and vegetarians, there’s even a nice vegan restaurant (Broccoli Revolution) here. Don’t miss it when you’re near the area.
It is an interesting concept to combine a bookstore and a restaurant area. There is a variety of restaurants and coffee shops there. It’s also a super cool place to unwind, enjoying a great city view. However, some people probably perceive the walls with books as a good background for taking pictures. Obviously, the bookstore warns you not to use the books as props for photo sessions. Maybe because of this some unpacked books are already not in the best condition (and I reckon at least they could be sold with a discount), and it would be nice if some book sections were updated with new editions. All in all, the place is worth visiting, whether for the books, the food, or just the atmosphere.
Can’t imagine that this popular department store, Central Embassy, will have a wonderful and fantastic cafe shops and co-working spaces for dining as well as relaxing at the same time and the same place in at once. We can enjoy reading, working, eating and playing in one place and all day long with modern style and cozy decorations.
