Weekday mornings are the quietest
Our second morning in Bangkok treated us with this great coffee place… visually impressive, great taste and very cozy atmosphere. I can definitely recommend Monochrome! If you’re also o photography enthusiasts must not miss… you’ll see why.
If you’re passing by Silom area, you should definitely stop at MONOCHROME!! Even though I don’t drink coffee myself, my partner does, and he really enjoyed it here. You can tell they take their specialty coffee seriously, from the quality of the beans to the attention to detail in every cup. As for me, I had the Thai tea and I was pleasantly surprised. It was smooth, well-balanced, and not overly sweet, with a nice, clean flavor. Definitely a good option if you’re not a coffee drinker but still want something special.
Monochrome Coffee on Decho Road has such a cozy, welcoming vibe. The space is bright and airy, plus they have a cute little art gallery inside. The coffee is solid and consistent, and they’ve got a great dessert selection. Definitely try the tiramisu it’s smooth, not too sweet, and has a perfectly balanced flavour. “My Daily coffee” ☕️ 📍They always give an extra, like a free taste of iced or hot drip coffee. It has a full flavour and well-balanced too.
A charming, family-run specialty coffee shop with a warm, cozy atmosphere. The wooden furniture and the beautiful collection of vintage cameras give the place a nostalgic, inviting vibe that makes you want to stay longer. It’s small, personal, and full of character — you can feel the family’s care in every corner. The coffee is excellent, crafted with real attention to quality, and the food is just as memorable. Their homemade Japanese custard is an absolute must-try — smooth, delicate, and perfectly balanced. It pairs beautifully with their coffee and adds something special to the whole experience. A perfect little escape for anyone who appreciates great coffee, comfort, and unique vintage charm.
This coffee shop is clearly famous in the area and a popular choice. The coffee is excellent, featuring a high concentration and robust flavor that is a definite plus. The shop's interior decoration is very appealing, featuring a unique display of vintage film cameras. Although the design is lovely, be aware that during the rush lunch hour, it gets quite crowded, leaving little time to fully enjoy the ambiance. Fortunately, the staff are well-trained and efficient, maintaining good service even when busy.
