This was the best animal café experience I ever had! Most animals were cute and friendly. They also have cats but we were more interested in animals we didn't interact with yet. Also be prepared to step in pee and expect animals to pee on you... It was a nice experience, you can get yourself clean later. LATER EDIT: I'm a bit worried about pets living conditions. It's a bit smelly and animals don't seem to have proper and suitable housing for them but they seem happy.
If you’re looking for a place where you can sip a latte while a fennec fox judges your life choices from across the room, Little Zoo Cafe in Bangkok is your spot. It’s less of a "standard cafe" and more of a curated encounter with exotic animals that you usually only see on National Geographic. 450bht entails a drink, socks and cookies together with an hour time with the pets. Unlike traditional cat or dog cafes, Little Zoo cafe features "unusual" residents. We meet up with the famous anchor pet - raccoon, fennec fox with ears larger than their heads, unique monkeys like squirrel monkey, corgis - the "grounding" crew of 10 that welcome customers upon setting foot in the cafe as well as cats of various species especially a cat that looks like the one in Alice in wonderland movie. The cafe is surprisingly clean and well-maintained, which is a feat considering the residents. The staff are attentive and knowledgeable with photo ops—not just to the customers, but to the stress levels of the animals. They enforce strict hand-washing and shoe-changing rules, which is a green flag for animal welfare. We can interact with the animals by petting them and sit with them. For more exotic pets, staff restrict the visitors by not stressing animals up and not disregard the safety of both customers and the animals too. It’s a must-visit for animal lovers, but go with the mindset of a guest in the animals' home. It’s a great way to see these creatures up close. We have been to the little zoo garden first as we wanna see the capybaras first. Puzzled with seeing low rating before going to the cafe as there are kids going with us, we enjoy our visit here. Animal welfare standards vary globally, and what feels like a unique educational experience to some can feel restrictive or inappropriate to others, so not recommended to people who are animal activists. Knowing that the cafe is going to shift to another premises, we’ll be going to new premises when back in Bangkok again.
Absolutely amazing Café, friendly staff (although only one could speak fluent English), the corgi’s were amazing, they were energetic and peaceful at the same time, you can cuddle and pet them all the time. The raccoon was super chill and friendly, you can easily pet it as well, the two types of do you can’t pet but can get up close, was very special to see. The Owl you can pet on his belly, also very quiet and amazing animals. The Cats were fine, same with the chihuahua’s. And as last, the meerkats, they were amazing, super friendly and wanted to snuggle up to you and get as many pets as possible. But also some of them were a bit energetic and wanted to dig into my socks and were scratching and nibbling on my socks and shoulderbag, didn’t hurt at all but was just very funny to see! (Also they make a lot of noice and don’t like it when you stop snuggling with them 😂) The cookies and drinks were fine, nothing special but just alright!
Came here out of curiosity and ended up really enjoying it. The animals were adorable and seemed well cared for, and the staff were attentive and informative. The drinks were decent and the whole place felt clean and organized. It is a fun experience, especially if you like animals and want something different from the usual café scene.
Visited Little Zoo Cafe to experience the different types of animals they had. It was a wonderful experience, pro tip would be to book the earliest slot so you can enjoy the time with the animals one on one without having to fight with other people. The corgis there are well taken care of and super friendly. They had section for cats as well. My favourite was getting to hold the fox and meerkat! they were so cute 😍 We were lucky because we went on a weekday so there were very few people. Please note they have moved so check their location first and you can FB message them to book a slot as well. Overall 10/10
