I had my motorbike seat done, and I was in urgent need for a place to work and I came across this little coffee and I have to say the drink was really nice and the owner or staff was extremely friendly and service minded and ensured everything I needed was taken care of including cord extension to charge my computer, etc. The atmosphere was nice. It was quiet. It is modern and very clean and excellent for getting work done. Will definitely come back if I’m in the area.

We stumbled upon Gumpa Coffee Cafe while staying at Kaya Heritage Hotel—it’s literally just a 1-minute walk next door, and we’re so glad we found it! The café is surprisingly spacious compared to many others in the area, with plenty of seating both indoor and outdoor (smoking-friendly outside). It has this chill, local vibe that makes you feel like you’re not just a tourist passing by. During our visit, most of the guests seemed to be locals working from the café, which gave it a very authentic Bangkok atmosphere. We ordered a few drinks and snacks—everything was tasty and quite affordable, especially for a city café. The standout experience, though, was the service. The barista (an older gentleman) was incredibly kind and welcoming. Even with the language barrier, he made a real effort to chat with us and make us feel at home. It was honestly one of those small moments that make a trip extra memorable. We happened to visit during Songkran 2025, and since the café is located right on a main street, we could watch the lively parades go by while sipping our drinks. Such a special way to take in the local culture! If you’re a tourist looking for a place to relax, grab a coffee, and get a feel of the real Bangkok, this is a highly recommended stop. We’ll definitely come back on our next visit!

This place is the definition of "lovely and cozy". Top notch atmosphere. There's a lot of dedication from the owner. A hidden gem!

My friend and I stopped here for a few hours while waiting on our train. Very nice, quiet and cool place to get some work done. Plenty of seating, and good drinks.
