Cozy, nicely decorated spot—perfect for a cooling break while exploring the area. I tried the watermelon granita with dried fish and crispy shallots—a really interesting combo. If you know the classic Thai pairing of watermelon and dried fish, this feels like a modern, chilled take on it. Sweet, savory, and crunchy all working together. Paired with a red tamarind juice, it was super refreshing. The menu focusing mainly on local fruits and traditional Thai desserts, which keeps everything simple and well curated. A chill place worth stopping by if you’re around Song Wat Road.
Highly recommended if you’re looking for a café experience that feels truly local and rooted in Thai culture. I stayed at a hotel right on Song Wat Road, just a few steps away from several popular cafés, but this place caught my attention because of the local fruit stickers on its glass door and the fact that there were very few tourists. The menu isn’t large, focusing mainly on local fruits and traditional Thai desserts like langsat, tamarind, and a few others I couldn’t quite identify :). The space is beautiful and airy, with an old-style Thai local architecture featuring lots of wood. There aren’t many seats, but the café has two floors (including a small mezzanine). That said, it wasn’t crowded at all, so seating wasn’t an issue. The staff were friendly and efficient. As for the drinks, I found them quite good — I had a red tamarind drink. It wasn’t too sweet, had no artificial taste, and was very refreshing. I do wish I had more time to try their desserts. I truly recommend this café if you want to escape the crowds and noise of Song Wat Road and enjoy something more calm and authentic.
I was immediately intrigued by the poster at the entrance featuring their limited-edition langsat juice. It made me wonder how many langsat fruits are needed to produce a full glass of pure juice. The taste was excellent—especially if you’re a langsat lover. While this tropical fruit isn’t widely known, it’s definitely worth trying if you have the chance. The Thai Meringue was great as well. Overall, it was well worth the stop on my journey—another hidden gem discovered.
This was one of the best cafe experiences I had in Bangkok. Incredibly tasteful interior, delicious sweet treats and overall a wonderful experience. They use a lot of herbs in their desserts which I love!!
An incredible Thai cafe! The service was outstanding, and their food and drinks tasted great. Their portion sizes were smaller but satisfying, comparable to what you would find in a tapas bar. The interior gave an almost Thai-village feel to it - particularly on the upper level - with some nice, local art on display.
