Love this coffeeshop with a 120 years tradition. Just coffee and toast and it can be so satisfying. They even have real almond drink hot or cold, as compared to the usual powered ones. We ordered the duo flavoured toast but I personally prefer the sugar butter one instead of the coconut custard. Deco is old school too with a strong retro feel. People tend to be very friendly. In our short meal here, we spoke to 2 Thai men here. One of whom is retired and have patronised this coffee joint for the past 50 years. He reads Thai, English and Chinese papers here with his breakfast! ❤️
Traditional coffee shop in Chinatown area. It is an authentic building and interior. A lot of local people also will comes here. Do enjoy the toast here as well. Enjoy.
Gorgeous iced coffee in a historical venue established 1927. Sitting inside is like a timewarp to the old Chinatown. Visited by Thai-Chinese and westerners. Besides the excellent coffee there there are also some side dishes and desserts to sample. English menu available. If you want to experience genuine local culture, this is the place to be.
A traditional chinese breakfast place for toast and coffee/tea. The general interior and exterior of the building is kept to its old-school look, but the place that takes order feels more like a night market stall front. Please do note that this is Thailand, thus the level of sweetness for their drinks and toast are kept to the local standard. Tourists usually takes the inside seats while the locals occupies those outside with their hot coffee/tea and newspaper. Interesting experience.
A legendary family-run coffee spot in Bangkok’s Chinatown. A local gathering spot for the elderly Thai-Chinese people. It doesn’t follow the latest fashion in coffee making and is still open due to the owners respect to the community that always have come here. This place is loaded with character and has a kind of retro atmosphere. It is really worth a visit if you like to experience local chinatown cafe in its original form.
