The cafe is beautifully decorated, offering a relaxed and comfortable vibe that makes it perfect for a casual afternoon hangout. The Highlights - Adorable Pastries: The attention to detail in their bakery items is impressive. The penguin-themed cakes and puddings are almost too cute to eat, but they taste just as good as they look! - Signature Soft Serve: A standout was the Hokkaido Cotton Hug soft serve. It was a massive hit—sweet, creamy, and topped with fluffy cotton candy and a penguin cookie. It’s a definite crowd-pleaser for both kids and adults. - Authentic Shio Pan: For those who love a good salt bread, the Original Shio Pan is a must-try. The texture and flavor are spot on, remarkably similar to the famous versions found in South Korea. - Strong Coffee: If you need a caffeine kick, their coffee doesn't disappoint. The flavors are rich and intense. Parking & Logistics The cafe is located in a busy area where street parking is difficult. It is highly recommended to park at On Nut Plaza on the opposite side of the road. From there, it’s just a short walk across the pedestrian bridge to get to the cafe. Whether you're a fan of cute aesthetics or just a lover of high-quality baked goods, Bake Urban is a delightful experience.
Bought a red velvet cake to take home and really enjoyed it. The packaging is super cute, and the cake stayed delicious even after takeaway. The cake is not too sweet, very soft, light, and moist — not crumbly at all. Absolutely delicious. I’m a big fan of Dann and Bake Urban definitely did not disappoint. I’ll definitely come back to try other bakery items. Love the vibe and concept of the shop, and truly wishing the team continued success. Keep up the great work — cheering you on.
Very cute cafe. The bakeries were so cute, I wanted to order all :) Unique and Delicious bakery. We had the Thai northern sausage roll and it comes in a Thai northern chilli dipping with mayo. The dipping is a bit weird at first and I was awed with the combination when having it with the roll. It was really great. We also had the cheese sausage croissant. It looked just like any croissant sausage you would find elsewhere until you cut it and find that it also has pickled cucumber. Now that is unique and wont find this in Bkk! Such a great combination. Worth to try if you're looking for some unique taste. The drinks are ok. I had the caramel macchiato and blended chocolate. The chocolate was too thick. They also have perfumes, caps, sunglasses.
First an important info about the parking situation: It is very difficult to find a parking space in the area. There is th On Nut Plaza Community Mall very close to the cafe, which has parking spaces, but they are not cheap. Around 200 THB for under 2 hours. So now to my review. The cafe is really nice and modern. It has some interesting drinks, cakes and snacks. We had the chocolate lava croissant, the young coconut cake and the phat grapau with egg tart. While the croissant and cake were just ever rich, the tart was really, really good. The phat grapau with the egg and the croissant tart were a perfect combination. The Pinguin Chocolate Shake and the Khao Tan (a shake make from rice) were every rich, but the flavor was only okay. Something to point out at the end is the price. For Thailand the cafe has some pretty high prices. It's still okay, but some price adjustments should be done in the long run. So overall I can recommend the cafe, especially the phat grapau tart, but be aware about the parking situation and the slightly too high price.
I was lucky to attend the private opening of this new cafe, and it’s easily one of the most charming spots I’ve seen in Bangkok. The open kitchen and in-house bakery let you watch the whole process, and the pastries, especially the croissants and cheesecakes are top quality, handmade under the chef’s supervision. The owner, a popular YouTuber, was friendly and stylish, and made the event feel very welcoming. Even as the only European guest, I felt completely at home. I especially appreciated that they offer sugar-free drink options – something rare here. The barista made me a delicious sugar-free cocoa, and even the takeaway drinks are thoughtfully presented in screw-top jars. Overall, this place is full of personality, attention to detail, and heart. ❤️ Great value for money. Highly recommend checking it out!
