A Keen

The famous black sesame latte lives up to its name. It’s iced black with black sesame foam, and the sweetness is just right. It has a nice atmosphere and staffs are friendly.

Tried the iced burnt caramel latte and it was really good. A bit too sweet for my liking but the burnt caramel had a toasted taste to it which was superb! Coffee tasted good as well. Service was excellent and the outlet was nice, beautifully decorated and relaxing to sit in.

The lemon brûlée was amazing, served inside a real lemon, the caramelized top cracked perfectly, and the custard underneath was smooth, bright, and refreshing. The Black Forest cake and the drinks were just okay, nothing bad but nothing special either.

The staff was able to do flat white coffee upon my request which is not available in the cafe’s menu. Very friendly staffs. I love its coffee and have tried at the ekkamai branch before. A Keen House did not disappoint me after trying again at One Bangkok branch. Gotta pay for quality standard though as anyone can get a cup of flat white at half the price at other cafes.

The drink tastes really good and consistent with other outlets, definitely one of my favourites! However, similar to my past visits, there’s still too much ice even though I requested for less. It would be perfect if the amount of ice could be reduced, as I ended up finishing the drink faster than the time it took to prepare it. Otherwise, great flavour and quality overall!
