Coffee quality poor, much better options nearby but sadly not open on NY day so needs must…!

Good as always! But the timer is outside 2 mins walk. Other than that nice atmosphere, 10 tables. Pretty small.

I was strolling around talat noi and was elated to find a cafe Amazon here. Of course, a good iced coffee was welcomed after walking under the hot sun and I walked in immediately. The coffee standard has always been good regardless which outlet I visited in Thailand. They used robusta beans which is very Asian, something that I liked for my coffee due to the strong flavour and fragrant. Not a big store but good enough in my opinion. Prices were very reasonable compared to some of the foreign brands coffee joints.

I had the stroopwafel (30 baht), but as someone from the Netherlands, I must say that it disappointed me greatly. The texture and look of the stroopwafel was authentic (see close up picture), but the taste was a turnoff. The cookie of the stroopwafel wasn't crunchy at all, instead it felt like chewing on toilet paper after one has wiped his butt with it... Wouldn't recommend!
