We made a reservation for lunch to make sure we get seated near the window, although when w e went there they do accept walkins. A bit on the expensive side but believe me its totatlly worth it!
A beautiful experience at this restaurant. We arrived without knowing it and were pleasantly surprised by the stunning view of the river and Wat Arun Temple. The sunset view is unbeatable, and later at night the illuminated temple is simply breathtaking. The service was perfect, and one of the waitresses took photos of all the diners. Even when there was little light, she brought an extra light for the pictures. Everything is well organized so that your photos with the temple in the background turn out perfect. The food and drinks were spectacular. 100% recommended. The prices are very reasonable considering the view, the service, and the quality of the food. Thank you! We will definitely come back.
Nice restaurant by the side of Chao Paraya river to enjoy the golden hour with the view of wat Arun and the cruises on the river lit up and passing by, they give nice corner seats (need to book in advance) and a window that looks like a photo frame (coz of the stunning view on the other side) - time slows as the beer and dishes rolls in! Awesome spot …not very expensive and good menu with variety of Thai dishes to select from
This was an experience. To sit by the river with the magnificent Wat Arun opposite, the sun setting on a balmy evening is hugely gratifying. The food is good, I enjoyed all of it apart from the Shrimp vermicelli dish, which was average. It was a kinda weird reddish colour which seemed a bit odd. However the red curry sauce was delightful, it’s the first time I’ve had it in Thailand and it was the perfect flavour, spicing and consistency. It would be great if they did a roast duck curry! The pork was tender though. I also enjoyed the Tom Kha Kai which I’ve never had before. My virgin colada drink was excellent, with an ice cream on top and a the right balance of creaminess and sweetness. A perfect meal for our last night in Bangkok. The servers were extremely polite and helpful with photos. You can see they provided supplementary lighting to enhance the pics. They take credit card (without extra charge). We get postcards gifted at the end.
I went to Chom Arun Café today. The place is really nice with a cool view of Wat Arun. The staff are super friendly. I booked a seat on the first floor but could go up to the third floor to take photos — the view up there is amazing! The food tastes great and the price is reasonable.
