Watercress

Watercress’ breakfast was so good. We went five days in a row! The food was amazing and the staff were super friendly and attentive. Highly recommend and when we come back to Bali again we will be giving Watercress a visit!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Watercress was just a short walk from where we were staying and it never failed to impress us. Travelling as a big group of 18 with a mix of adults and kids from almost 1 year old through to 12, Watercress was a hit with absolutely everyone. The décor is simple, relaxed and inviting – perfectly fitting the Bali vibe. We went there for breakfast multiple times and the coffee was spot on every time, whether hot or iced. The kids loved the watermelon juice, smoothies and milkshakes, and there’s a great range of breakfast options to suit all tastes. My personal favourite was the Benny Brunch, which I am still thinking about now that I’m back home. It includes a juice, your choice of coffee, the most divine chia pudding with fresh fruit, a muffin split topped with perfectly cooked eggs benny and bacon, plus a side garnish and your choice of tomatoes, mushrooms or seeded avocado (avocado every single time for me!). The crazy part? All of that for only 170,000 IDR – around $17 NZD. We also went for dinner one night when they were running a buy-one-get-one-free deal. Every meal was delicious – I had the beef burger and would happily order it again. Service was amazing and incredibly accommodating. The kids loved being given colouring menus while waiting for their food, which made everything so easy as a big group. We genuinely miss our daily trips to Watercress and seeing the friendly staff. A must-visit if you’re in Seminyak – we’ll absolutely be back. 💛

Got brunch at Watercress Cafe, they’re under the same group as Milk & Madu. I honestly didn’t expect much at first, but the Matcha Berry and the Egg Benny were so good. Great vibes and super friendly staff. Love it

Watercress Batu Belig is an incredible place, perfect for breakfast or lunch. We decided to have brunch and tried a variety of delicious dishes on the menu. They offer a wide range of coffee and tea options, and we opted for long black coffee, which was absolutely delightful. Uma, our friendly server, was incredibly helpful in guiding us through the drink and menu options. The entire staff was kind and attentive. The Boujee Scramble was a standout dish. The whipped truffle eggs were perfectly cooked, with the ideal balance of scallions and mushrooms. Sourdough toast is an excellent accompaniment and there are several options. We also enjoyed scrambled eggs, roasted tomatoes, bacon, and ham, all served piping hot. It was one of the best breakfasts we’ve had in a long time. Feeling adventurous, we decided to order something extra. Uma’s recommendation was spot on—the Coconut & Passion Fruit Pancakes (2) are a must-try! The pancakes were incredibly light and fluffy, and the passion fruit and candied coconut toppings were simply divine. The coconut ice cream added the perfect finishing touch. Here are a few recommendations: 1. Don’t miss out on Watercress—you won’t regret it! 2. Look for Uma—she is a great host and will steer you around the menu properly. 3. Order the pancakes—you won’t regret it! We had an absolutely fantastic dining experience at Watercress Batu Belig, and we want to express our deepest gratitude to Uma and the staff for making our visit so memorable.

Stopped in on our travels in Seminyak. Lovely place just located off the main high street. Atmosphere was great and the staff are friendly, Food was delicious! Tuna steak, polenta chips are recommended! Great meal and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
