I pass this place every morning and always wondered if it was actually good or just popular. Finally decided to try it, and it turns out the curiosity was worth it. The food really lives up to the smell and the crowd. The broth is rich and comforting without being too heavy. It has a clean, balanced taste that makes you want to keep going back for another spoon. The lawar is fresh and well-seasoned, with a nice mix of texture and flavor in every bite. It doesn’t feel greasy, and the spices are there but not overpowering. The sate lilit is probably my favorite part. It’s juicy, nicely grilled, and packed with flavor. You can taste the herbs and the slight smokiness from the grill. Overall, it’s a solid spot for a satisfying meal. Nothing fancy, just genuinely good food done right. Definitely glad I stopped by instead of just walking past again.
