Warung Damu

We were truly impressed with this warung! The food was excellent, with generous portions that were more than satisfying. The flavors were rich and perfectly balanced, and every dish was prepared with care and skill that reflects the standards of top chefs. We tried both traditional local dishes and European dishes, and everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. We especially loved the authenticity of the traditional specialties, while the European dishes were equally high-quality and prepared to a high standard. If you’re looking for a place with outstanding food, generous portions, and fantastic flavors – this is definitely a spot you shouldn’t miss!

My husband and I were staying at Prana with our 11 month old. For dinner we wanted something within walking distance and local. We stumbled upon Damuh Kitchen and I’m so glad we did! I was craving satay and this did not disappoint! It was so delicious! One of my favourite satays in Bali so far! The staff were kind and respectful. The atmosphere was nice! We went early but as we were leaving, other visitors had started to trickle in. Loved it! Would absolutely return again!

We spent one week in Ubud and, luckily, on day one we ended up at this restaurant because our villa was right across the street. We liked it so much that we ate there every single day — even though we usually love trying new places. But the fear of missing out was just too strong. I also discovered a new favorite dish there: you absolutely have to try the ayam bumbu asam manis. The mie goreng is exceptional as well. And what you really wouldn’t expect from a Balinese restaurant that mainly serves Asian food is that the pasta dishes were absolutely on point — on the level of a really good Italian place. During the day, we basically fasted almost the entire time so we could go all in in the evening — ordering everything, filling the whole table with food and turning dinner into a complete food escalation. On some nights, we easily ate around ten different dishes. The restaurant is run by two incredibly kind and caring women. They were so warm and welcoming that we almost felt like they were our two moms. Breakfast is great too — the pancakes were unbelievably good. When I’m back in Ubud next time, I will definitely go there every single day again. It’s unbelievable. I‘m in love with this Restaurant!❤️

The food is absolutely amazing. We dine here 2 times, and we will go one more time before we go home. There are 2 ladies super cute and kind. Thanks for this experience.
