The Common

I cannot recommend The Common enough! It’s genuinely the best breakfast I’ve had in Bali, and in a place like this where there’s a viral brunch spot around every corner, that really means something! The food was fresh, perfect portions and so so tasty. The service was also incredible, Wahyu (and the rest of the staff) made everyone who came in feel so welcomed, and checked in to make sure you had everything you wanted etc I already can’t wait to go back!

The Common in Canggu is an absolute standout and easily one of my favourite venues in the area. The atmosphere is beautiful — bright, modern, open and incredibly comfortable, with plenty of seating options that make it easy to settle in whether you’re there for a quick bite or a long, relaxed meal. It’s the kind of space you immediately feel good being in. The staff are truly exceptional. Friendly, attentive, courteous and genuinely kind, they go above and beyond to make sure your experience is a great one. Nothing ever feels like too much trouble, and you can tell they genuinely care about their guests and the food they serve. The two-for-one tacos were fantastic value, and the tacos themselves were absolutely delicious. Perfectly presented, just the right size, incredibly fresh, and bursting with flavour. Every bite was spot on. The pricing overall is very reasonable, especially considering the quality. I also came back for breakfast and was just as impressed. The Breakfast Club offer is outstanding value, and the food was once again excellent. All in all, The Common nails it — great food, great service, great atmosphere, and great value. I’ll definitely be returning again and again. Highly recommended.

Incredibly breakfast deal - breakfast, coffee, fresh pressed house juice combo. My corn fritters looked stunning and tasted even better. And add to that the 3 pieces of crispy bacon… fantastic way to wake up in the morning.

I was really surprised by how good this was. I expected it to be just another hyped place, but now I totally understand why everyone keeps recommending it. I tried the nachos and the veggie tacos, both were really delicious. I’ll definitely be coming back for more.

Very good service with the personnel being kind and worried about your experience. I ordered a bowl, and it might have been my choice of ingredients, but it became a little too much. Didn’t end up with a good mix of flavours. The prices are a lil bit expensive for Indonesia, being their public the tourists.
