Refined waterfront seafood destination featuring afternoon tea, sunset dining & Sunday brunch....
Sea Salt Bali is an expensive restaurant. We spent around $300 AUD for two people and only had two cocktails, and it was absolutely worth every dollar. I will not tell you what is involved in the amuse-bouche or the bread surprise, as it should remain a surprise. What I will say is that both were exceptional and set the tone immediately for what followed. For entrée, I had the tuna and the complexity of flavours was outstanding, beautifully balanced, thoughtful and precise without being pretentious. For main, we shared the full seafood platter, which was nothing short of spectacular. Everything was impeccably fresh, elegant in presentation and supported by excellent sauce options. The wasabi mayo in particular was phenomenal and elevated the entire dish. Dessert was the chocolate fondant. It may be considered a dated idea, but when it is executed this well, it becomes retro rather than tired. Perfectly done. The ambience, especially at sunset, was stunning and added enormously to the experience. If I had to be critical, it would be that there were no cold towels on arrival, although they did appear after the entrée, and the toilets did not quite match the standard of the dining room. That said, any minor issues were comfortably negated by the incredible service and, most importantly, the exceptional food. Sea Salt delivers a refined and memorable dining experience and fully earns its reputation.
AYCE sunday brunch was a festive one. If you love seafood or sushi plus sweet then this would be the place to be. The view, just can’t beat it. Right next to the ocean and you can see, heard the waves crashing, and the wind blowing just a great felling. Staff are wonderful, friendly, attentive, and always a smile on their face. There is a live dj plus saxophone playing throughout the time we’re there. There are 6 sections throughout the place…majority is seafoods and sushi and sweet treats. Plus you can order for small portion on the menu…it’s small. The qualify is fresh and tasty and with the view…you just can’t help it but seat back and relax, enjoy & appreciate the moments. We ate a lot and and love it here.
Stayed at alila for 4 days, and the best experience was honestly the breakfast. You can enjoy buffet + a la carte menu. Seriously every dish is so delicious and so many menus!! Definitely recommend the breakfast:) The servers were super comforting especially to Anita, Gaemma and Cinthia. Thank you!
We start from the very beginning — the reception was wonderful and very friendly. The sea view at sunset was absolutely stunning! Then we were served an amazing complimentary dish with a beautiful presentation — black salt with flavored butter and premium sourdough bread. The salad had a unique and exotic tropical mix — I’d rate it 9/10. The seafood dish was outstanding — 10/10. The fish dish was also great — 9/10. The service overall was truly exceptional!
Fantastic lunch spot with unbeatable views! Sea Salt is the perfect place for a relaxed lunch by the ocean. The restaurant has a modern coastal vibe, and the beachfront setting is absolutely stunning — definitely a 5-star location. The food was fresh and beautifully presented — from the grilled prawns to the fried rice and dumplings, everything tasted great and paired well with a cold drink in the tropical atmosphere. Service was friendly and efficient. Overall, highly recommend for a leisurely lunch while enjoying the sea breeze. Knocked off one star only because the food, while delicious, didn’t quite hit the same wow factor as the view — but still well worth the visit!
