Old Friends Coffee

I liked the flavor of my coffee which was ordered using drip method, it was a light roast and had a nice profile I would say the flavor and freshness was 7/10. The chocolate cake could have been better, it needed more cacao and sweetness. The crust was strange, a grahm cracker would be more tasty, and provide a better texture, the recipe needs to be tweaked. The café seating is uncomfortable, I was sitting on a short hard wooden stool. They could put on cushions and should buy more comfortable chairs instead of hard wooden benches and metal/wooden stools which are not conducive for sitting for more than 5 minutes without getting a sore bum. I really enjoyed the music selection, it provided a nice ambiance. The cafe is cute, sunny and the staff were friendly.

Super cute vibes, nice presentation, and the little cake was delicious. Choice of different beans roasted lighter and darker for espresso drinks. But the flat white came with only one shot. Even on their darkest roast beans it was a milky mess, and that's not right. The weak coffee notes that came through the milk tasted nice and the extraction seemed good. But with this recipe, I wouldn't recommend.

No doubt one of the best coffee i've try in bali. Espresso was excellent.

My favorite place for a cup of coffee in Ubud. Located in Nyah Kuning which a but less crowded than central Ubud. Coffee is great and ambience is homey. People minding their own business and not being loud.

Great, great coffee. I drink way too much coffee and I’m always trying different cafes wherever I am. Personally I’m more towards a light to medium roast which seems to be what they usually serve up here. Not too acidic and barista art is crisp. Much quieter type of cafe, ppl come here just to relax and chat quietly, music playlist is great because there’s Oasis & Coldplay 😂 Limited seating but it’s fine as the neighbourhood is small and you don’t really get the typical tourist here. I’m definitely coming back.
