I came to Jalan Bisma and found a very minimalist café. Every afternoon during the dry season, you can watch the sunset from this café. The coffee is also really good. I highly recommend this place.

Novus Coffee & Eatery is fine if you’re after a quick, basic café experience, but it doesn’t quite live up to its pricing or potential. The food is acceptable but nothing memorable — decent for a quick bite, though there are plenty of other cafés nearby offering much better quality for a lower price. The coffee is okay, not bad but not outstanding either. It does the job if you just need your morning caffeine fix, but it lacks the depth or richness you’d expect from a place positioning itself at this price point. What really stood out — unfortunately — was noticing staff smoking outside and returning without washing their hands. It’s something you don’t want to see when you’re eating out, and it left me questioning the café’s overall hygiene and management standards. A bit more attention to cleanliness and professionalism would make a big difference. The atmosphere itself is quite ordinary — comfortable enough, but not particularly warm or inviting. Service was polite but not especially attentive. Overall, I’d come back here for a coffee if I was nearby and needed a quick stop, but I wouldn’t return for the food. With so many great cafés around, Novus just doesn’t quite justify its higher prices.

Had the best avocadotoast ever. The staff is super friendly and hygienic. I would totally recommend this place as i am a germophobe . Perfect!

Absolutely delicious food and such a cute cafe spot. It’s so decently priced but feels hip like a london cafe. Recommend the novus breakfast, smoothie bowl, breakfast roll and almond croissants! Love this place
