This was our third visit to Nelayan. And each one has been a wonderful experience. From the friendly welcome to the wonderful beachfront setting. Everything here has been superb. Drinks, snacks, meals and the discount on the cocktails. Whether you're looking for a chill out drink, or a day by the beach, this place fits the bill.

A nice and comfortable place to eat, drink and relax on the beach. Staff are very nice and helpful.

Food- 3/4 burger was okay, but bread was a little stale, and they didn't melt the cheese. Bacon was hard to bite into. Price to Portion- 5/5 fair price for area, at first I thought it was a little cheaper but burger doesn't come with fries. Price to location/area- 5/5 cheaper than near by hotel restaurant Atmosphere- 5/5 perfect restaurant on th beach plus seating inside ( doors open no AC) Service- 4/5 only had 2 staff before dinner on a weekday, I think they forgot they sat me down. And it took a while to get their attention for my bill while they were clearing tables. Would I personally recommend- 4/5 nothing special about this place. Just a typical beach side restaurant, nothing stood out to me. No live music to support local bands/ artists. To review reader- feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions or group foodie Meet ups To owner- Having 3+ servers working outside 7 days a week would be better for overall great service that will keep customers coming back and the place looking full and desirable. Even if it mean paying someone... Live music is a must especially since the restaurant has some space between other places so it would stand out more, this location has way more potential. Nelayan Bali Restaurant is an absolute must-visit in Sanur! From the moment we arrived, we were enchanted by the stunning beachfront setting and the elegant, yet relaxed, atmosphere. The view, especially at sunset, is simply breathtaking and sets the stage for a perfect meal. The food is a true highlight. We had the Grilled Black Angus Beef Tenderloin and the Pan Seared Trio of Fish (Barramundi, Mahi-mahi, and Gindara) - both were expertly prepared, incredibly fresh, and bursting with flavor. The blend of Balinese spices and modern presentation is masterful. The service was impeccable—attentive, friendly, and professional without being intrusive. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and offered excellent recommendations. Whether you're looking for a romantic dinner or a celebratory meal, Nelayan delivers an exceptional, 5-star experience. It’s more than just a meal; it’s a beautiful moment by the sea. Highly, highly recommended! We will definitely be back.

Wow! What a lovely place Nelayan was! Without too much effort we asked if we could book a table for 35 people for the evening (yes big family wedding party) and they had absolutely no problems! It was awesome! We all sat down in one big long table, and ordered just about everything on the menu! I had a lychee martini which was ‘bang on’ delicious and perfect for the evening dining on the beach. The green curry was amazing and the chocolate desert was insanely good! It was so good that we couldnt stop thanking the Chefs and staff at the end of the night. Service was fast, attentive and very good. Easily kept a split tab going and wasnt a problem for the staff to keep up. Very friendly crew and amazing dining experience on the beach while the cooling evening breeze went through. Well done to everyone at Nelayan and thank you for a great evening!
