Always grateful this place is still serving exceptional coffee whenever I come back to Ubud. Australians are very particular about their morning fuel - Monkey Cave Espresso literally has cards signed by Aussies to assure us this is a sure thing. Great tunes. Friendly and cool guys serving. This small upstairs café sits right on the main street, open to the air and full of life below. Rustic wood, simple seating, and greenery create an easygoing spot for quick coffees, casual chats, and watching the city move past.

I looked around to find a very local café — not one of those fancy Instagram spots — and it was perfect. Just go, sit upstairs, and enjoy great coffee and avocado toast. I recommend not trying their cookies, because they’re the best I’ve ever had and now I don’t know how I’m supposed to live without them anymore 😂😂

Chill vibes drinking cold drinks on a hot day at the second floor/balcony. We ordered iced coffee ice cream and iced chocolate ice cream. Both tastes great.

Great sitting above street level to chill out for an hour or 2! We went twice as we loved it so much! Great coffee & food. Really friendly staff & I also enjoyed looking at all the bank notes from across the world on the counter of the till! A lot more reasonably priced than other brunch spots too!
