Local favorite for tasty and affordable fried dishes like chicken, catfish, and duck. The sambal, made with lime for a fresh kick, is the star.

Was okay. The only thing in menu is Fried chicken with rice and sambhal. It was tasty but there’s better around! Local hangout place. Price seem 10,000 more than regular loxal place though. You can sit while looking at the main road.

When i ask he say with rice. But when i open in my home. I just find chicken only. But i was paid for rice too.. I paid 31.000 for chicken only❌❌❌❌❌❌❌

Came here because I saw a lot of locals at this place and thought it would be cheap and authentic. I didn’t ask about the price first (no menu available) and they just gave me the chicken & liver skewer with rice “paket” (set meal). I believe this should only be 25k but the boy charged me 35k and gave me change using super oily fingers. Eeew! I asked if he could wipe his hands and give me clean notes. I am not overly fussed about being charged 10k extra but a bit grossed out. That being said, the liver skewer is absolutely delicious and Sambal is on point if you can handle spicy.

I think, one of the most common local warung in Ubud is ' warung lalapan'. Cak Nomin is one of the most popular where the location is strategic, spacious, clean, affordable price with its yummy sambal, raw and cooked sambal.
