Honey Bees Local Eatery

Visited for breakfast. Fed two adults + Coffees for roughly $55 AUD. Food was decent but not the best I’ve had. Overall it’s a 4 star experience for breakfast.

We visited Honey for lunch and it’s such a cute little spot with plenty of natural light. The staff were friendly, and although it was a bit crowded, we were seated right away. We had seen reviews warning about the dogs at the café, but we had no issues with them at all. My husband ordered the chicken sandwich and the apple beetroot juice, and both were delicious. The only downside was that the prices were a bit steep, but the portions were quite generous. Overall, it was a great visit!

I've been to Honey several times in the past, for breakfast, for coffee, and for quiet moments in between. After about six months, I returned recently and left a little disappointed. This time, the service felt noticeably chaotic, with clear communication issues, and the coffee quality wasn't what it used to be. My cup tasted overly acidic, lacking the balance I remembered. Sitting inside also felt less inviting than before. The music was very loud, and there was a constant sense of restlessness in the space, even though it wasn't particularly busy. I did notice more signs discouraging people from working there, which I fully understand and respect. That said, the removal of power outlets some time ago already made it difficult to stay for longer periods, and this visit confirmed that it's no longer a place where I can comfortably work, pause, or truly enjoy my coffee. It's a bit sad, because it used to be a spot where I could just sit, focus, and enjoy a good cup. For now, it's not a place I feel drawn to return to.

Honestly this was my first breakfast in Canggu I left being hungry… it looked sad and didn’t taste great too. I took eggs your way and extra smoked salmon. The tiny piece of salmon was just unfrozen and had watery taste… and it was a very small piece of bread too. The service and the atmosphere was great but I’m disappointed by food. Probably I’ve made a wrong choice of dish but still …

I find it a very relaxed place. I had the beef burger, fine option, very tastefull. They have happy hour from 4-6pm. 2 cocktails for price of 1. They give you a bottle of water for free on your table. I would recommend it.
