Dawn Patrol

We had a great time with our instructor Popo! We booked 3 sessions á 2 hours, and had a great time surfing. Our instructor was very patient and supported us at all times during the preparation on the beach and aswell in the water by pushing us into the waves. As beginners, this was a good way to catch the wave and stand up on the board. We sometimes had to re-allocate to different spots due to low waves, but the transportation was smoothly organized by the team. Also, we got cool videos from surfing as a memory. Definitely would recommend the school as well as the instructor!

Had an absolutely great time with Dawn patrol. Right from the initial communication with Andi to the instructor to the post surfing analysis. Everything was perfect! Really helped me upgrade my skills and special shoutout out to my instructor Popo! He's so much fun and yet insightful,giving you tips all the time to improve.. this is a great place to be if you want to up your surfingn skills or even if you are a beginner!

Great surf school at Balangan Beach! I had a fantastic time learning to surf here. Very positive atmosphere. My surf instructor Adjie was very kind and professional. Thanks to his support I catched my first green wave. Such an exciting moment. I truly recommend this surf school.

I had an amazing experience with Dawn Patrol Surf School Bani! 🌊 From the very first lesson, the team was super friendly, professional, and encouraging. Thanks to their clear instructions and patience, I managed to catch a wave already on my first try! 🏄‍♀️ The guys made me feel comfortable and safe in the water, and their passion for surfing is truly inspiring. Highly recommend them to anyone visiting Bali, Uluwatu who wants to learn surfing or improve their skills. Can’t wait to come back for more lessons!

Dawn Patrol are the best there is when it comes to surf schools. A friend and I just did 3 days with a longboard focus. Our instructor Popo was an absolute legend and took great care of us in line ups and gave us lots of tips and tricks - he is the wave whisperer…knows how to read the ocean like no other. The entire Dawn Patrol team are great - responsive in the lead up and great communication during too. They were great getting a gauge of our ability in the first day and then tailored the next two days based on that and local conditions. Balangan beach surf was pumping and well overhead so not suitable for longboarding so we were driven to three perfect longboarding spots each day including on day 2 we did an hour then swell died so they took us to another spot. So if you’re considering booking a surf lesson in this area of Bali, don’t even think about booking anywhere else. They have the best instructors and local surf knowledge so Dawn Patrol is your answer!
