Great place. Both of us had the Nasi Campur, one vegetarian and one vegan, but they looked to be the exact same dishes. Really delicious selection of food, worth the higher prices. Desserts were the mango sticky rice and the Es daluman. Both really tasty, decent sizes. Staff very attentive and friendly. What really stood out here was when I asked if the mango sticky rice is available, the waitress let me try some first, as it may be too sour for some people. A lot of restaurants would just serve it and say you should have known it wasn’t in season if you complain. The atmosphere is very nice with low lighting, it is clean. You get tasty cassava chips whilst you wait :) One thing I picked up on the menu which may need revising. Above the “pisang Rai” dish, it says vegan, not “can be made vegan”, just states that it is vegan, yet the description is boiled banana with egg… may be good to check this, as it may make people anxious as to if other labels are correct :). This Warung is very different to ones we saw in Lombok, which were simple buildings that functioned as a home and business in one. It is a rather classy place with fancier food.
We ate dinner here for 2 consecutive nights coz their foods were delicious in a very affordable price, the staff were very welcoming, attentive and all english speaking. They accept card and cash payment. From its entrance going to the restaurant you will walk along the homestay so keep your voice down while passing thru and very surprising upon reaching their cute resto. We highly recommend their Nasi Goreng Pork Ribs and Bebek Goreng coz it was really good!!!
Lovely hidden restaurant where you can try local foods. What I like about this place is that they serve many different sides with the main dish, and you get to try various Indonesian flavors by ordering just one dish. We had chicken skewers, local soup with chicken and mix of Indonesian dishes. Portions were generous and we liked everything. Everything is served on Baja leaves, making your experience even more authentic. They also have various desserts, we liked pancakes (banana much better than pineapple) and a bowl of fruits with banana seeds, which felt a bit tasteless. Though, for those who are seeking for a lighter dessert, it would be a good option. I recommend the place!
Amazing food in Bali at an affordable price. They have great vegan and vegetarian options and they offer healthy options like gluten free, and sugar cane syrup rather than sugar. They have a great selection in their menu. We had the mie goreng pork ribs and they melted in our mouth. Sooo delicious. We highly recommend the soups especially the curry noodle soup.
Really nice experience! It’s great that the restaurant is inside a traditional house, while walking past so many of them, you always wonder what it looks like inside, and here you actually get that opportunity. The food was good, and finally we got a cold coconut water! I loved my soup, really appreciated it. We also had the plate with several traditional dishes, which is a great way to taste a bit of everything without having to choose just one. The dessert was nice too, with a flavor quite similar to something we have back home. Service was lovely as well, friendly and welcoming staff.
