Chez Gado

Amazing beachfront restaurant with a stunning view directly facing the ocean. The atmosphere is cozy and perfect for relaxing or chilling while enjoying the sunset. I ordered the Balinese bowl and it was absolutely amazing — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The whole dining experience felt very enjoyable. The service was also excellent. The staff were very friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout our visit. A special thanks to our server, Mr. KASTARA, for taking such good care of us and making our experience even better. Always a great experience here. Nice place around the beach with three different seating sections. One inside one outside and one right on the beach be careful crossing because there are motorcycles going by. The food is good. It’s not cheap but worth it especially for sunset.

We have been to Gado so many times over the last 6 years visiting Bali on multiple occasions. We always go there for a good vibe, shisha and feed. This place holds a special place in our hearts. We wish they brought back Tapas for two with mini sliders and fish and little snacks. That was what made us love this place the most. Tapas party isn’t the same, and we don’t order any of it. But overall we always come back and enjoy lounge and sunset over the ocean with a nice glass of wine and shisha :) the crew are amazing! So happy and cheerful, and the live music everyday. Luhde is a superstar!

Choose to sit on the beach or on the deck, both have their charms. Oh yeah you can sit inside too but that’s not my preference. Just like most places, if you have a big group book in advance, sit back, relax and create those memories. Live music during sunset and after dark add to the charm of this laid back beachside institution. Food ranges from tapas to sushi to burgers to pizza to pasta to lamb shank or duck. You get the idea, the menu is vast. If you can’t make up your mind, ask Adi, he will sort you out. Did I mention all day 2 for 1 happy hour for cocktails and daily food specials. Look, it ain’t got no chefs hat but if you are looking for a relaxed beachside venue that is great value, never disappoints and will become a core Bali memory then give Chez Gado Gado a try. I just might see you there 🤣

One of the best if not the best beach front restaurants to have a meal / drinks and experience the sunset. We have also had many brunches and lunches here too. The food and drinks are amazing value. The staff are always polite, friendly and attentive. Security stop traffic when crossing from the restaurant to the beach dinning area. Over all an amazing experience is always had at this venue.
