Cafe Zai

Had dinner at Zai Cafe and it was such a great experience from start to finish. The service was impressively fast, and the team was attentive, friendly, and very welcoming. It’s always nice when you don’t have to wait long and everything arrives just right. The food was awesome — full of flavor, well presented, and clearly made with care. Every dish we tried was satisfying and delicious. What really adds to the experience is the interior and overall environment. The space has a beautiful, cozy design with stylish décor that creates a relaxed yet vibrant atmosphere. It’s the kind of place where you can comfortably enjoy a long dinner, whether with friends or family. Definitely a place I’d happily return to. Highly recommended!

I had a lovely dining experience on 26/1 at Zai Cafe and tried several dishes from the menu. The octopus with harissa and orzo really stood out — the octopus was extremely tender, and the flavors were beautifully balanced and well combined. The chicken pâté with prunes and bread was also lovely, rich and comforting, with a nice contrast between the savory pâté and the sweetness of the prunes. The scallops with strawberry and passion fruit were amazing — smoky yet refreshing, and very unique in the best way. For dessert, the lava cake was absolutely amazing, perfectly indulgent and satisfying. The only dish that didn’t quite work for me was the beef short rib with mashed sweet potato. The rib was glazed in a sweet barbecue-style sauce, and combined with the sweetness of the mashed sweet potato, the overall flavor felt too sweet and not very pleasing for my palate. Lastly, I want to give special thanks to Nania, who was very humble, attentive, and genuinely helpful. Her service made the experience even better. Overall, a great place with creative dishes and warm hospitality.

We had an amazing experience at this restaurant in Bali!!! 😍 The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive - special thanks to our waitress Leoni who made our visit even more enjoyable. The atmosphere is absolutely incredible with a beautiful interior that creates a perfect vibe for relaxing and enjoying the moment. We were also lucky to visit on Ladies’ Day, which was such a fun and unique surprise. The girls were treated to complimentary cocktails, ice cream, and even edible chocolate lipsticks such a creative and delightful touch! 🤍🤍🤍 Truly a wonderful place with great energy,thoughtful details and outstanding service. Highly recommended! I’m in love this place 🫶🏻🫰🏻✨

Amazing place for dinner. Great ambience, as well as service. Had Scallops for starter and Homemade Tagliatelle with tuna and fresh truffle for mains. The food is unique and super delicious. Beautiful combination of flavors. The service was warm, fast and engaging. Special thanks to Andre, who made my dinner super special with his assistance and smile. Will definitely come back soon :)

Beautiful restaurant with equally beautiful food. Standout creative dishes are the tuna tartar, watermelon haloumi, soft shell crab salad. I love how the chef has incorporated unique combinations but it complements so well! Service is also fabulous - Adila was so informative and great!
