The food is delicious, no doubt about it. But since I came to write something on my laptop, I initially thought this place would be good for concentrating and getting some writing done. It turns out the table isn’t suitable for opening a laptop, and there is an area where using laptops is not allowed, so I packed up my food and went somewhere else, feeling a little sad. Next time, I might come just to eat.

I stopped in at Bodega on my way to a rice field walk, and had coffee and a bagel with home made berry jam, both of which were delicious. The atmosphere was lovely, eclectic and cosy. There are two sides to the cafe and there is also the little shop which sells beautiful and very reasonably priced items. It is also a community based cafe with support going back into the community as well.

Food is great and cheap, but really the vibe is the best part of this place. It’s great to escape the hustle and bustle of Ubud and just chill here. Make sure to go upstairs for the best seat in the house. The staff was super friendly and also great.

Absolutely lovely place! The best panini I ever tried in Ubud accompanied by great cappuccino. And a very local vibes: Balinese temple, kids playing around, a bit busy but still quiet street.

Cute Café in Ubud out of the centre towards Sayan Point. After a walk in the rice fields stopping in for a morning coffee, greeting by the lovely staff. The coffee was great, the food was healthy and tasty I had a delicious tofu scramble with avo and fresh bread today. The café sits on a quiet, cute street with a relaxed vibe. Staff were kind and welcoming, and just across the road there’s another part of the café with a small store selling healthy products, books, snacks and more super handy if you love exploring local wellness finds. Best bit, if you’re a dog person like me you may even get some furry love while you sit outside. A sweet little spot to enjoy a slow morning in Ubud. Recommend checking it out 💛
