The most delicious donut that I have ever eat but it's not as crispy as I imagine. I love the lemon glaze, the topping is top notch
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Donut of Curiosity – Ashta My favorite donut shop, now dressed in full Christmas magic! Their festive decoration is absolutely charming — a whimsical holiday showcase wrapped in rich red velvet, adorned with lush garlands, sparkling ornaments, and a dramatic oversized bow with a golden bell. It instantly sets the mood and brings an imaginative seasonal touch to the space. This December, they’re introducing their Cruller Series, and I’m genuinely impressed. They’re the first to bring a proper cruller to Jakarta — similar to churros in appearance but completely different in texture. Made from fried choux, the cruller is light, airy, delicately crisp, with deep ridges and a tender, almost custardy interior. Subtly buttery, lightly sweet, and wonderfully addictive. Cinnamon Sugar The classic, coated with cinnamon caster sugar — warm, comforting, and the first one you should try. Maple & Beef A playful return of their signature Maple & Beef Bacon donut, now in crispy cruller form. Smoky beef bacon with fragrant maple notes — my first savory cruller, and surprisingly delicious. Lemon Glaze Bright, zesty, and refreshing with real lemon zest. Dark Chocolate Rich dark chocolate ganache with crispy cereal — indulgence in every bite. Almond Crisp & Caramel My number one favorite! Caramel cream–filled, glazed with Dulcey chocolate, and topped with roasted almonds. Toasty, nutty, rich, and unbelievably good. Pistachio Crunchy cruller glazed with pistachio paste, sprinkled with pistachios, and filled with real pistachio cream. Pure, authentic pistachio goodness — no artificial flavoring at all. A beautifully executed festive menu and an exciting new series that truly showcases their creativity. Always a pleasure coming back — highly recommended!
Extremely creative shop selling delicious donuts!!! Absolutely in love with the knotted design, it’s such an eye catching structure I couldn’t stop gawking over it 😍. Apart from that, the donuts are very yummy!! There are several fancy flavors to suit whatever mood you’re in. Especially in love with the strawberry mochi one, the mochi filling is so generous I love! 🥰😍🍩 Staff are also helpful and kind. Wish there was a sitting corner tho😆. Went there several times and always had good experiences. 🥳
As the name suggests, this donut shop instantly sparked my curiosity. Its quirky pillar display showcasing the wide range of flavors felt both unusual and inviting. Even the ordering process stood out, in a good way. We were handed a charming little menu book, guided through our choices, and then waited for our order at a small window in the shop, which made the whole experience feel unique. We decided on the Pistachio and the Caramel Butter donuts, and the Caramel Butter quickly stole the show. The donut itself was pillowy soft with a satisfying chew, topped with a glossy layer of sweet, salted caramel, dusted lightly with salt, and filled generously with rich, buttery cream. Every bite was indulgent and left us craving more. The Pistachio donut, on the other hand, offered a nutty kick with a surprisingly abundant filling that didn’t disappoint either. Looking forward to try other exciting flavors!
The name itself tickled my curiosity. The design of the shop was super unique, too. The donuts were great. Although it was on the pricey side. But it's justified able because these are artisan donuts. Not the usual donat kampung style. The packaging was also designed really well👌 The texture of the dough was perfect. Not too hollow, not too dense, a slight chewiness. The quality of their toppings ingredients was definitely on another level. Valrhona is my favourite. The thick chocolate was not too sweet, rich & velvety. The pistachio is pretty good, tasted like pistachio gelato. Tiramisu also nice, tasted like creamy mocha. The srikaya creme brulee was eggy & has crusty sugar topping at the top. Kurogoma mochi filled with sesame paste & chewy mochi. I will come back to try the other flavors! Too bad there was no seating for waiting area. There was a string line that forbid us to get a closer look to the donuts' display, which i think is a shame. The donuts display was not big/close enough for me to see the writing. So i think the design lay out didn't deliver well. Eye catching = yes, functional = no.
