Weekday mornings are the quietest
During my stay in Ubud. This place became my daily destination for delicious food. Basically I tried everything here and whole menu is tasty rich in flavours and nicely served. It has local climate, it's not expensive and staff here is really nice and approachable. There is a cat Kilo here, that can keep you company while you wait for your order. You could find more posh places around, but I found if you like quiet this place is very nice... To sum up, in this neighborhood I ate for 3times as much things half as tasty...
Delicious food and drinks! In menu there is local food and also pizzas, salads, juices, smoothies, starters, soups.. for me everything is very nice :D People working here are very friendly and sometimes sweet and friendly Kilo the cat can keep You company :) Also sometimes in the evening musicians are nicely playing covers of known songs. I strongly recommend :)
The food was small in quantity and tasteless, the price did not match the quality of the food, and there was a 15% service charge which was shocking. I will never go there again. Any restaurant in the area is better than this one. This was the most disappointing restaurant I have been to in Ubud in 8 years. A reminder to restaurants to cook properly and not just take money from tourists.
We have eaten at the new Cafe Angsa on 3 occasions since it opened in its new location in lovely Penestanan just over a week ago. Food was fresh and delicious. The new cafe is decorated with lots of great photos of the local area, comfy cushions, and a laid back vibe. Brilliant live music a couple of times a week. Highly recommend!
The name says cafe, but the menu is like a restaurant. We had sweet and sour chicken with vegetables and rice, gado gado satay with tofu and rice, white snapper with vegatables and rice and drinks, as desert only the dadar gulung. The food was realy good, only the dadar gulung was a disapointment.iit was a plain pancake rol topped with chocolate syrup with inside a liquid like syrup coco mixture. This should be a green pancake with inside brown sugar sweetened coco (actually served on banana leaf). Nice atmosphere and kind and friendly service. At the back of the restaurant you could enjoy a nice sunset in the middle of the city.
