The Grocery Store

They have produce, some not very fresh. Decent amount of products. Bad attitudes. Been in Athens for a week and never found an employee with a smile at Market In store near our apartment in Thiseio. Quite the opposite in fact. Almost as though they do not like customers

Great palette of products for favourable prices. It is located in silent location without any crowds of tourists.

Nice neighborhood supermarket with a good variety of products, a little bit of everything, and polite staff. It usually receives fresh fruits and vegetables on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

The management is of another era. Quality of fresh produce is below average. Ridiculous amount of time waiting in queues. As if they live forever...! There is almost always a queue of people at the tills, the checkout process is depressingly slow and the fact that there could be lots of people in queue does not seem to bother the staff.

This is the lower side street entrance, there is a street corner entrance to the upstairs partition up the street. Great selection of fresh produce, non-perishables, and drinks. Staff was helpful and friendly, also speaking English!
