The dark side of chocolate

I found this gem through a recommendation from a sushi chef at a nearby restaurant where I’d been eating for several days. We became friends, and he told me this was a must-visit. Since it was my last day in Athens and I had some time to kill, I decided to stop by, and I’m so glad I did. The experience was lovely. The owner was incredibly warm and patient—even though I don't speak any Greek, she took the time to explain every single chocolate variety to me and gave me some excellent recommendations. The atmosphere is very cozy and unique, making it the perfect spot to relax. I ended up buying a selection of chocolates to bring back to my friends in France. Considering how picky they can be about their sweets, it says a lot that they absolutely loved them! This was a highlight of my trip. Highly recommended if you’re looking for high-quality chocolate and a personal touch in Athens.

This delightful family-owned chocolate haven is a treasure for anyone seeking a cozy place to relax after a long day or when it's cold outside. From the moment I walked in, I was enveloped in a welcoming atmosphere that felt like a warm hug on a chilly day. The star of the show, of course, was the hot chocolate itself. Served in handcrafted red mugs. What truly set this place apart, however, was the warmth and hospitality of the man that runs it. Aristotelis seem to have a genuine passion the chocolate and all he offers in his lovely place. Make sure you enter his chocolate kingdom when you're in the area.

The best place for chocolate right in the heart of Athens, a personal fav since I was studying in the university nearby! You can easily reach it from Panepistimio metro station. The menu is in Greek only but the staff will be more than willing to guide you through it! Best hot chocolates in Athens in an original tiny bar dedicated to it, with great music taste as well! Don’t miss it!
