Bistro quality at half the price I usually go the different coffee places every day whilst abroad, but I've returned here three times! Their toasted bagels (Koulouri salami) with salami, cheese, rocket and tomatoes have been consistently good, and are a steal at 4β¬. With a double cappuccino setting you back a mere 2.40β¬, I've yet to find better value for money anywhere else.
The coffee was mediocre, served in paper cups of the lower quality, that seemed to disintegrate in my hand. The pies etc are also mediocre, nothing 'special'. I had some ham-and-cheese pie whose dough seemed to look like kataifi, that was interesting but beyond that, nothing else. Service was excellent!
The Corner CafΓ© is look like a local coffee shop. Between 7-8 AM its full of people on their way to work. They have a variety of coffee, sandwiches etc. It's NOT a place to stay and drink your coffee! Take away
LOVE this place!! Unbelievably good breakfast and savory pies and tarts and fresh squeezed orange juice and coffee. Nice stools and outdoor bar style high tables where you can eat and watch the world pass by in the park across the street or on the active traffic circle.
Several different kinds of very nice coffee, polite and quick service, very reasonable prices, combined with a delicious selection of sweet and salty snacks. Stop by and relax, sit and enjoy your coffee, itβs more then worth to make a break this way.
