If you are looking for a nice place to enjoy some fresh and delicious desserts, this is a great choice. They offer a wide variety of classic treats, and everything we tried was very fresh and tasty. It’s a very clean and cozy shop, perfect for a quick sweet break during the day. The portions are satisfying and the prices are reasonable for the quality they provide. The staff is polite and the service is fast. It is definitely one of the best spots in the area to grab a dessert and a cup of tea. I’ll be visiting again whenever I have a sweet craving in Athens.
The best orange pie I had so far. And the best chocolate cake as well. 😋😋😋 All the baklava here is delicious. I have been here two times already and I will go tomorrow for the third time. 🤪 If you are in Athens this is a good destination 🌞
Baklava and Lokum was mediocre at best. And you can find same quality greek coffee anywhere. The most important thing to note around this palace that it is a tourist scam! They charged us for these in the picture over 20 euros, whereas price of 2 Baklava+Lokum was exactly 6 Euros on the counter. I really wanted to know how Greek coffee which is usually cheapest item on the Menu costed 15+ euros but they also didn't put the prices of items in the cheque. I wanted to go back and actually ask but since we didn't ask for the price of the coffee beforehand and it was not stated in the cheque, I realized that they could claim it being much more expensive than it actually is. I'd recommend everyone to avoid this place at all costs if you're a tourist in Athens.
It was the best baklava I've tasted in Athens. We tried the mussel baklava, the burma baklava, and the pistachio baklava. I highly recommend it. The vanilla ice cream was also amazing; you should definitely try it. The traditional coffee served with the baklava was also wonderful. We came here every night during our four-day stay in Athens, so I'm updating my review. We had kazandibi and kunefe. The kunefe is freshly made. It had plenty of cheese, the syrup was excellent, and the cooking was excellent. I recommend kazandibi for those looking for something light.
Delicious authentic baklava + Greek coffee! The chocolate pistachio was delicious and all the original flavors not too sweet or dry. Open late as well which was great way to finish the day.
