Lostre Cafe

LOSTRE is a nice place for a relaxed coffee break. We were just walking by in the morning and decided to stop in for a quick drink. The atmosphere was calm and pleasant, and the terrace made it a comfortable spot to sit for a while. The coffee was good, and my son really enjoyed the hot chocolate. Overall, a simple and enjoyable place to pause and recharge while exploring the area.

This a nice place to have something to eat and people watch, well at least from my table. Next to a small park and well-adorned. A bit touristy but it is in the area for that. Though I thought the food was well priced the drinks were .. well.. touristy priced. The shrimp pasta in lobster sauce was very nice. The service was good and once ordered things arrived quickly, although there was an issue with who was responsible for my table. Not on my end but with the wait staff. That settled things went smoothly. Nice menu, with a good amount of choices. It was a nice choice to stop my walking and enjoy the afternoon here.

Found this cafe while exploring Athens and can’t recommend this place enough, the Galvanina peach ice tea is hands down the best ice tea I have ever had. And I ordered the English breakfast and it was really good. The atmosphere here is really nice and the trees gave us a lot of shade from the sun. I can see that this place would get quite packed in the evenings/weekends so we came at the perfect time. Staff were great also. Definitely recommend!

We stayed at the Acropolis Ami Boutique Hotel just around the corner. Our last meal in Athens was here and it was one of the best. We ordered their specialty pizza and the salad with cottage cheese. That salad was probably the best thing we'd put in our mouth the entire trip! The milkshakes (banana & peanut butter) were awesome as well. Great service, lovely vibe, and great music. In fact, we told them they needed a dance floor!! Don't miss this little spot!!
