I’ve been a big fan of Leonidas chocolate since I first had them in Belgium as a child. I was really pleased to see the store right under the acropolis. The chocolates are really good and the small outside seating areas is a nice place to enjoy a break if you still want to be around the buzz at the foot of the acropolis.

Perfect stop during our Acropolis area walk! Located right on Makrigianni Street, this spot offers a refreshing break from the heat, especially on a summer day. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, offering recommendations and serving everything with a smile. Their selection of cold drinks was just what we needed—iced coffees, fresh juices, and chilled water, all reasonably priced. The outdoor seating had shade and a relaxing vibe, making it a great place to recharge before continuing our historical tour. Whether you’re looking to cool down or just enjoy a quick break, this place ticks all the boxes. Highly recommended for tourists exploring the nearby museums and archaeological sites!

We stumbled upon this super cute cafe while strolling down one of the most charming streets. We truly enjoyed our cafes and drinks as well as our view on Acropolis. Last but not the least, we were amazed by exceptional service. Keep up the great work, guys👍🏻

Leonidas Chocolate Café Acropolis was a great find for a late-night coffee. It was one of the few places still open, making it a perfect stop after a long day of exploring Athens. We had a flat white with almond milk, and it was smooth, well-balanced, and had just the right amount of creaminess. The atmosphere was cozy, and the staff was friendly, which added to the experience. If you’re looking for a reliable spot near the Acropolis for a quality coffee, even late at night, this is definitely worth a visit.

Leonidas, why couldn't you open more stores in the US? We love your Giaduia! Husband and I were in Greece. When walking around Athens, we found your cafe and we were ecstatic! Giaduia and others varied chocolates were delicious as always. I appreciated your latte first thing in the morning. It put an extra pep in my step! Glad to know we could still order your chocolates on line!
