What a wonderful brunch enjoyed with new friend, good service by smiling girls. I really appreciated it!

Busy during the day, decent food, nice atmosphere. The eggs Benedict were alright, the hollandaise a bit too thick and the bacon a bit too done - overall the taste got together. The avocado spread was nice, coffee, tea all good. Worth a visit if you're in the area, I'd try coffee/cake combo rather than food.

Time slows as you enter. You may only be a foot from the sidewalk but you'll begin to unwind as you sip your tea. The tiny scone, tea biscuits will melt away your worries and prepare you stomach for a delightful gastronomic experience. The assortment of tea drove me to try this place. But the question was, did they know how to do tea properly? Ah. Mostly yes. The only down side is the tea bag but it seems to be the unbleached kind. And it had not been steeping long before we received it. Seems they assume we know the proper steep time. For Summer Full Moon I'd say 3-4 mins is perfect but go with what your palate says is perfect. Medium sized leaf. Mostly light brown and a few green olive colored. Some stems. Going to guess it's a standard pluck. Perfect mix of white and green. Sweet with a very slight astringency. You can still see the fuzz on some leaves. Trichomes! Fireside smells amazing. I can't taste it but my husband, who doesn't drink tea much, loved it. Got sweeter as it steeped longer. Slightly spicy. Tasted like it's ingredients. Very nice side salad with the smoked salmon on a beautiful baguette. Light dressing but very tasteful. Smoked salmon is outstanding. The salmon melts in your mouth. And tye avacado mousse makes it greater. Pairs well with green tea. Greek pasta is perfect. Great flavors mix in a marriage of amazing flavors. Perhaps time slows too much through. As we sat there for quite awhile waiting for our tab. Do just flag them down if you are in a hurry.

A surprisingly amazing brunch! Wanting to get coffee and “something to eat”, we came across this amazing place! Coffee was decent but their brunch plates are top tier!!! We ordered 3 items from their brunch menu (croque madame, scrambled eggs and eggs Benedict) plus a couple croissants. The taste of every single dish was so good that we couldn’t put our cutlery down... Perfectly toasted bread, extraordinarily well cooked poached eggs and creamy scrambled eggs to die for... The portions were massive and the side salad (arugula with baby tomatoes and corn) complimented every dish as it should! Honorable mention to the fluffy freshly baked croissants that get like we were eating tiny clouds! It’s an amazing place where food is treated with great care and everyone should try it at least once! Thanks L’arrêt du temps, you really stopped time for us! 🍾❤️

This cafe in the Ilisia area is my fave. Local professionals hang out here quite a bit, so it is ok to be seen with a laptop - once in awhile - in a cafe in Athens:-) The location is perfect, situated right across from a park and close to the many hotels in the area. They serve brunch all day, amazing! Fantastic food and service, good music, great wine selection and seasonal menu. Not a large menu but every single item is worthy of a 5-star review.
