Best Hours for Work
Weekday mornings are the quietest
The show was ok, but it focused to much on Frida's life and less on her actual work. The immersive didn't show any paintings and how they related to the time of her life, only pictures. The VR also repeated the same patterns of showing the symbolism rather than the work itself. All and all it was a nice hour and a half, but a bit too repetitive and missing more actual artwork.
Impressive as all productions of this type. However, it was not a positive experience because there were too many children in the room, even 4 to 6 years old with a lot of noise and amusement park treatment from their parents. Given that Frida Kahlo and the work are not characterized as "children's", I would expect the production to give a description that it is suitable for children over 10 years old.
Impressive exhibition, but children under 10 years old should not be allowed in, on the one hand because they don't understand it and on the other hand because they make a fuss.
I felt like I touched Frida Kahlo's life, even for a moment, through the exhibition. It was definitely not a classic art exhibition. It is definitely worth it for the emotion and the atmosphere. An ideal walk for young and old, for a different cultural outing in Athens.
Amazing experience ! Frida Kahlo at her best! We left with such great emotions!
