Focacceria Napul’e

Hands down, absolutely the best sandwich we have had in many weeks in Greece. The store was spotlessly clean, the owner makes the sandwich right in front of you from very fresh ingredients and for downtown Athens it is very reasonably priced. Next visit in Athens we will be back !

Wonderful arancini and sandwiches, love potatoes on any sandwich and great price both together was around 10 euros. Limited seating but the view and atmosphere are wonderful looking at the back of this beautiful church.

A very friendly proprietor gave me a smile and nod through the window as I walked past. Being lunchtime I turned around decided why not. I’m very glad I did. The Diablo sandwich is absolutely spicy delicious. And what better way to wash it down then with a good beer.

Really loved it! The focaccia is amazing, super crispy on the outside, soft inside, and the ingredients are so fresh. Feels like a little taste of Italy. Definitely coming back to try the tiramisù!

The vegetarian sandwich is delicious!! So flavourful, added the pistachio pesto our focaccia maker suggested, literally chef’s kiss. Thank you so much!! Coffee is also great, one of the better ones I’ve had since arriving in Athens.
