Peter is a very welcoming man who made me feel right at home away from home as I was travelling. I would start my day off with a coffee and he would always share a smile and a short conversation. Great coffee and very friendly people! I can’t wait to come back.

Last year I came here with my family by accident and it was our lucky day. The owner immediately found us tables to sit and from a small coffee it turned into a small party. We've talked a lot with the owner be tought us few Greek words gave us Ouzo and Tsipouro took pictures with us just simply amazing. One year later I returned to Athens visited CAFE 40 and owner still remembers us, still has the pictures with my family and still the atmosphere is absolutely positive. I will definitely return here

We were there at the start of May. So friendly, welcoming, relaxed and the food was very good.

This is the best coffe shop in Athens! We were staying on the same street and every day we started off with breakfast at this place. Whenever we met Pharos his attitude put smiles on our faces. He has amazing food and drinks and we hope to see him again soon!
