Blue Haus

We went for breakfast with a group of friends. Inside, there were only a few tables and just one waitress. We waited around 20 minutes just to place our order. While this might be understandable — one person serving many tables is far from ideal — we tried to be patient. After placing the order and receiving only glasses of water, we waited another 20 minutes for our coffees and juices. Then, after an additional 40 minutes, only one out of six ordered dishes was served. By the time that person finished eating, the rest of the dishes arrived after yet another 20–30 minutes. In total, it took almost two hours of from placing the order to receiving the fifth and sixth dishes. At that point, I asked to speak with the person in charge. The owner simply apologized and explained the situation by saying it was a holiday, several tables arrived at once, and the kitchen and staff were doing their best. As a guest, I am not interested in internal organizational problems, such as too many tables being seated at the same time. These issues should not affect customers or justify such excessive waiting times. The only compensation offered was an invitation for another breakfast the following day. Although it was presented as “free,” after everything that happened we had absolutely no desire to come back — which speaks for itself. We do not recommend this place.

I eat there and also study there during exam sessions. The place is really good and comfy and the food really good! The owner and the personal of the place are really kind and always there in case of need.

Cool-looking cafe bar just north of the heart of Athens. I had a Greek coffee there and it was pretty good. The place is a bit worn out but has good vibes to it. I like the name too.

Coffee shop staff were accommodating, despite the short delay for our order on that busy night. Pleasant atmosphere, seating not the comfiest, conveniently located minutes from the bus station.

Nice café in the heart of Exarchia with a really nice outside seating area. On my many walkabouts in the area, especially on a sunny day like today, I really enjoy relaxing there and always enjoy their fresh lemonade that is 😋. Their fresh orange juice is also good & their service really friendly. I haven't tried their coffee yet but I'm sure I will soon! 😊👍😊
