A real gem in Athens. This is not just another coffee shop. The sandwiches are made to order, with excellent ingredients and real care, and it shows in every bite. The flavor balance and execution clearly reflect serious culinary skill. Great coffee, relaxed atmosphere, and food that’s prepared properly rather than rushed or pre-assembled. Absolutely worth a visit!

I visited multiple coffee shops each day while we were in Greece for a few weeks road-tripping from Athens to Thessaloniki, and this was definitely one of my top three favorite places. I spoke to one of the owners, Paris, and you can tell that he really knows good coffee and cares about serving the best for his customers. He’s killing it over there because the espresso was outstanding, we tried latte hot and iced and both were done perfectly. If you are in Athens and want the best coffee, this should be one of your stops.

Excellent coffee and reasonably priced. While there are multiple coffee shops in the area, Black Bear sits among the best ones. The coffee is consistently good and the prices are competitive, compared to similar-quality coffee shops. Definitely worth it!
