Donβt do any business with this bank , it is probably the first time I have heard of banks robbing their customers, they give bank robbers a bad name,I have less than few thousand euros in the bank and have been trying to withdraw it for over 2 years now and still no luck they throw up all obstacles every time to block you I am just giving up to hard and expensive. So far I have spent more than 300.00 euros trying to get MY MONEY and to no avail, update after 3 years of waiting for my money I got a letter from the bank asking me to fill 14 pages of questions which I have already done on 3 different occasions.
My visit this morning to the National Bank of Greece. I wanted to cash a check and have it credited to my account. I went to the teller area and took a number, 52. The display board showed number 29. Okay, I had time. One counter was open, and most of the people waiting were elderly. Two people were even disabled. The woman at the counter was doing her best, but she was also overwhelmed, especially because people kept coming to her counter wanting information. By the time I got to number 31, 30 minutes had already passed. At number 34, the woman at the counter disappeared for 15 minutes without any indication that the counter was closed. I assume she was taking her break. After exactly 1 hour and 45 minutes, it was my turn. It took 8 minutes for the check to be credited to my account. Then I wanted to withdraw 2000 euros in cash. Unfortunately, they didn't have that much cash on hand and had to make a phone call to restock the safe. It took another 5 minutes. Dear bank management, what do you understand by a progressive and, above all, customer-friendly bank? Why is only one teller open? Especially during the Christmas season, you should be better prepared. Thank you for your attention.
Kafkaesque is the only word that describes the customer experience with this bank. Notoriously unhelpful staff and a broken appointment management system on their website makes it next to impossible to manage a simple task like changing your home address abroad.
This NBG branch is one of the worst I've encountered. The employees on the first/ground floor are exceptionally unhelpful and rude, particularly the female manager and another female on her right side. Their time seems devoted to chatting, phone calls, and laughter, rather than attending to customers. There's a noticeable display of disregard and discrimination. The NBG should seriously consider replacing and reassessing the effectiveness of these employees. Their performance seems subpar, providing an overall unpleasant experience. During my visit, their behavior made me contemplate closing my bank account and moving to another institution. Furthermore, they even resorted to threatening a poor customer who was simply seeking to correct his address, despite presenting his resident permit ID and passport on his phone, as he had done previously.
Bank with no trust. I try to deposit my 8300 euro πΆ to my bank account. But the bank teller guy drop all money all over the floor . After than he counted 8100 euro. Lost 200 euro πΆ. And the manager doesn't helping anything. Bank with no honor and trust.. be aware not to use this bank .
