I respect their ideological choices, and we initially wanted to sit there to meet some interesting people. However, we decided not to, because there was an image of Stalin hanging on the wall. We felt deeply uncomfortable, thinking about the millions of people who were murdered by that butcher.

Finding Idea Fabrika has changed our trip in Athens for the better. It is such a lovely, warm and welcoming space with lots of interesting people to meet and chat with. I can only recommend it! Edit: Don't listen to the latest negative reviews, some people clearly have an issue with solidarity towards Palestinians.

I cannot recommend this place enough. Wonderful people, good ol' Marxist and other music, ping pong, chess, good coffee and local beers... You are welcome to sit and eat comfortably at the tables even if it's from one of the places around - I highly recommend the Magic Kitchen. Our kids loved this place too.

A truly amazing place. A place where we can drink Thessaloniki beer and meet new people while playing chess and ping-pong. The sincerity of the employees impressed me even more. :))
