The pita bread was divine, very good. One of our favorites on our trip so far. The Lady that served us was very polite and gave us recommendations of what to eat and what to do in Greece, will be coming here often!

On the advice of Matt Barrett’s travel blog, my boyfriend and I visited Meraklides Grill for a gyros lunch while in Athens. My boyfriend had the pork and I had the chicken, and they were the best gyros we have ever had!

We went there without knowing it would be this good. The waitress gave us the best recommendations and made our first night in Athens already unforgettable 💚 we will come back for diner

By far the best chicken and pork I've tasted in Athens. Cooked to perfection, juicy tender meat, accompanied by everything else and in proper quantity. And extremely affordable. Our waiter, Maria, was also a joy to talk to. I highly recommend this place.

Lovely atmosphere with traditional taverna music, the food is great, especially the chicken skewers, and the pork souvla. The service is attentive from a lovely and chatty waitress Maria.
