Stumbled across this gem, full of characters and a fabulous bar maid. Courtesy cheese sticks and a good laugh right across from central station very homely feel

Several trips to Amsterdam and first time in this bar. Great little place across from Centraal Station. Super friendly staff, especially Ann (no surprise seeing as she is a fellow Scot). Will definitely be back.

Bought 2 Heinekens and 2 jack daniel's cokes there. Lady behind the bar refused to give us the bill before we paid so we could see what we paid for as the amount was €45. After 10 minutes of arguing and going back and forth they finally showed the bill. It had 4 Whiskey luxe on there and 2 cognacs. No beer was shown on the bill. They then said you had cognacs, we had not touched our drinks at this point. One of the other members of staff said that they had "Calculated in their head" and it should have been €35, but still told us to pay the €45. They finally inputted the amount back into the cash register and selected the drinks again, following this and the amount came to €40 which I still believe was not the correct amount but paid to keep the peace, because at this point the lady behind the bar had turned the music off and it was just us and the members of staff arguing with a bar food of people. Stay away unless you want to get scammed

Nice little corner cafe/bar. Good music, friendly people inside, and good drinks. The bartender we had Cyntia (I hope I’m spelling that right) was super friendly and helpful! Will definitely be my first stop again next time I’m in Amsterdam! :)

A great place to be, the ladies who run this place are awesome, with the calming aura of Cynthia or that of party and energy coming from Crina …. It’s a place for everyone seeking either a calm or party place… these folks know how to take care of the people who walk in here. More for community center from what I have seen
