I heard about a shop with delicious apple pie and came to try it. After tasting it, it was the best apple pie I've ever had! The cream is also recommended! Since I was visiting with my child, I would have appreciated it if they had seated us away from the heavy smoker next to us. (There were several empty seats available at the time.)
Heard a lot about this place from friends which is famous for the apple pie. The place was almost full when i went but was lucky to find a spot but people who came later had to wait 10-20 mins. A cosy place with good cafe vibes but packed. Order their home made apple pie with whipped cream. Priced at 6 euro the portion is good and can be shared by 2 people. They use fresh apple in the pie and these apple are coated in cinnamon and cinnamon lovers will enjoy this delight. The whipped cream complements by subsiding the cinnamon flavour which might over power after few bites. The outer crust is crunchy like biscuit and tastes good. Overall a one time try spot for their local apple pie. Not worth the hyped level but good. Can try if around damrak.
We heard that Winkel 43 has the best apple pie in Amsterdam and it really was! We tried it and it was absolutely perfect. The crust was nice and crunchy, while the inside was soft, sweet, and melts in your mouth, topped with a lovely whipped cream. The texture was light and not too sweet at all, which made it even better. There was a queue when we arrived, but it wasn’t too long, and they separate the line for dine-in and takeaway, which makes the process smooth. We were so impressed that we actually came back a second time just for the apple pie. Definitely a must-visit if you’re in Amsterdam!
We had heard the best things about the apple pie here, so we decided to come and try it—especially since it’s so famous. And honestly, we really loved it. If you’re in Amsterdam and you enjoy a nice, authentic Dutch atmosphere, then this place is definitely for you. Highly recommended. We’d also like to mention that the service was excellent and very friendly overall. Even though the place was busy, we didn’t have to wait long at all—we were seated and served within 5–10 minutes. A really sweet experience.
Apple pie and the vegan bitterballen are so good that they’re absolutely worth a 30‑minute wait in line. The space inside is quite limited, so be prepared to share a table with other guests, or you can choose to sit outside. However, since Amsterdam’s weather is unpredictable, we preferred to wait a bit longer for seats indoors 🤭 By the way, you place your order first and then look for a table. We ordered the apple pie and the vegan bitterballen, and both were outstanding ✨ The crust of the apple pie was very light and crisp, rich with buttery aroma, and the apple pieces were large and sweet 🍎The slice itself was big enough for two people to share comfortably 🥧 The bitterballen were fried to a perfect crunch, while the filling inside was incredibly smooth and creamy, and they were excellent with mustard 🧆The two of us finished seven pieces in total, which was a bit “heaty” for the body, haha🤪
