Really tasty and creative grilled sandwiches in a super cozy and interesting location. The portions are pretty big and the prices were fair. Will go there again. The pig in a blanket was extra greasy and not as nice as the sandwiches.

Cute hole in the wall eatery with outdoor seating in a sunny nook, nice big sandwiches, and good selection of snacks and local drinks. I ordered the veggie sandwich, but my favorite sandwich was the sardine. All the sandwiches were a bit salty for my liking though, and as a warning you need to pay with cash or a certain card (Mastercard was one of them, but my Mastercard didn’t work). Overall nice experience and will be back!

What a gem! If you ever visit Amsterdam and need to have lunch in the north part (closer to NDSM Wharf) then you must visit Waargenoegen. Their hot dogs are amazing and you can also get a vegetarian option. The beer selection is also very wide and the owner is very happy to assist you with your choice.

Nice little hidden gem. Definitely a great pit stop while you check out the nearby second hand stores. We had the appelbol which was surprisingly different from other apple tarts - something flowery or honey like to set it apart! Tea came half filled but I’m sure I could have just asked for more water if I needed 😅

Love this place! A true hidden gem in North. Best apple pie in Amsterdam. And beautiful new terrace
