Perfect ambience, talented bartender and just a great vibe overall.

We came here last week. Had 5 tequila shots and 2 hot toddy. After speaking to multiple bars around the area we found out we got scammed. He charged us 60 to 70euros for those drinks. He saw we where traveling through. We have no option but to pay. DO NOT GO HERE THEY OVER CHARGE

Very nice cosy place in the heart of Amsterdam

Absolutely loved this place. It’s inspired by an old-fashioned bar, but there’s nothing outdated about it—quite the opposite. The vibe is fresh, cozy, and welcoming. The service was some of the warmest I’ve experienced in Europe—truly top-notch. If you’re in the area, you should definitely stop by for a drink. And a huge thanks for that life-saving club sandwich after hours of walking around—it was delicious!

it is actually a pub and the only place in the area that serves eggs for breakfast. my excitement dimmed when i tasted a huge platter of fried two eggs and bacon on dark bread. it was so salty! i keep coming across salty food in this town!
