Decent white chocolate latte. Easy to find a seat. Service was friendly but quite slow.
I don’t usually leave reviews, but my experience at Coffee Bridge was just bad enough to warn others. The coffee itself was average at best, not worth the price or the attitude. Speaking of which, the tall guy behind the counter made the entire visit uncomfortable. He acts like selling you a cup of coffee is some sort of grand favor, barely making eye contact and giving off this arrogant “you’re lucky I’m even here” vibe. Newsflash: you’re not running a Michelin-starred café, you’re just a coffee seller. There are too many great spots around to waste time being treated like a burden for being a customer. Won’t be returning.
The place is absolutely beautiful — cozy, inviting, and full of charm. The staff was kind and attentive, making the experience feel genuinely warm. You can tell they care. That said… the coffee, which I was really looking forward to, felt like a letdown. It’s labeled as “specialty,” but the cup I got was extremely hot — too hot, honestly. From what I know (and from what my slightly scorched tongue confirmed), specialty coffee is usually brewed at lower temperatures to preserve the delicate flavors. Here, the heat seemed to overpower everything, leaving behind a slightly burnt aftertaste. It missed the nuance I was hoping for. I also tried the banana bread. It had good flavor, not overly sweet, and I appreciated the natural taste — but it leaned on the dry side. A bit more moisture and it could’ve been a winner. In short: beautiful spot, lovely people, but the product didn’t live up to the vibe. I wanted to love it — I really did — but it left me wishing the passion in the atmosphere had translated more into what was in the cup.
Me and my friends come here at least twice a week to do schoolwork. The atmosphere is impeccable. It’s super easy to get work done, the seating is also great. There’s so much natural light too. And the drinks are always good too 👍🏼 Their dirty chai is really good, and so is the pistachio cookie 🍪 😁 My only request would be, could you please add a gf food option. Like a gluten free cookie 🙏🏼
Excellent service and a good coffee. A cozy place where you can also work. Considering several shops in Amsterdam do not allow you to have your laptops, this is a nice option to have an online meeting/short calls.
