Weekday mornings are the quietest
This happen to be right by my hotel. And was one of the tastiest cappuccinos I have had! I might be here every morning. The banana bread was good too. And the ladies working were very friendly. And make an excellent coffee!
Absolutely outstanding! Sango Coffee truly knows how to handle, roast, and celebrate coffee at the highest level. Every roast is spot-on, carefully crafted, and full of character — you can taste the expertise in every cup. The staff is incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about what they do. This is exactly what I call a true roastery with real baristas who understand their craft from bean to cup. Highly recommended for anyone who loves specialty coffee. A real gem!
Until last summer, I didn’t even know Sango was right in the center of Amsterdam near my old studio. I found it while taking a walk looking for good coffee. Even though I no longer work in that area, I go back whenever I can. They make one of the best Americanos in Amsterdam, and their filter coffee is great too. I haven’t tried the espresso yet because the Americano with Colombian beans keeps calling my name. The staff is always friendly, and the café has a really nice atmosphere.
I really loved this place! The service was super quick and friendly, and my cappuccino was delicious The whole atmosphere felt so warm and cozy. The big windows with the Amsterdam view are amazing, especially now in autumn — it’s so beautiful and calm The interior is stunning, and it’s really cool that they roast their own coffee. I couldn’t stay to try the desserts, but everything looked so tasty and inviting! And they also have a really interesting way of serving sugar ;)
The place had a very cozy, relaxed vibe. The overnight oats were perfect, topped with fresh berries, and the cookie was delicious. The filter coffee was quite lightly brewed (almost like tea) but still enjoyable. I know specialty filter coffee is usually light, almost tea-like, but I personally prefer my coffee strong. The espresso, on the other hand, was surprisingly good with an intriguing flavour unlike anything I’ve had before. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking to explore coffees that are different from the usual
